Update for Monday January 25th, 2016
BORC
A reminder to all grade 7 students that we are going to be attending BORC tomorrow. We leave at 8:45 and should be back 10 minutes prior to the end of the day. Please bring a literless lunch. Check the weather forecast and please come dressed accordingly. Rain or shine, we will be outside for a large portion of the day so come prepared with both winter and rain attire as the forecast is calling for rain.
Literacy Day- January 27th, 2016
During periods 4-6 on Wednesday, our students will be given a leadership opportunity during literacy. Grade 6 and 7's will be working with Mr. Clark's grade 2/3 class to complete a literacy based activity in which students (in small groups) will be asked to read a picture book and identify what elements of the book involve using problem solving and/or growth mindset. Grade 6 and 7 students have been asked to bring a favourite picture book with them to school that they can use to read in their small groups. Most students have already selected a book from our library, but if you haven't, please be sure to bring them in that day.
